Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues. Two bridges, one a well-built structure a bit east of Drury, the other a single log.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Just as one approaches the summit of Clark MT from the east, at a slight col, there’s a junction with an old road/path. This road takes a sharp right and veers north/northwest; the M&M is on the left, heads west, and is very difficult to discern, look carefully for the faded white blazes pointing you up the slope. As you ascend the trail does a few switch-backs as it make its way up Clark. The next few hundred yards are poorly blazed and used, an experienced hiker will find their way. Once you are west of Clark the trail is fairly well-blazed and used all the way to Drury. About midway between Clark and Drury there's a large area of blow downs. The crews have been in and opened up the trails but there are still a few you'll need to walk around. I took Indian Trail as a shortcut back to parking. Lots of leaves and very slippery!

Comments
Comments: The perfect place to social distance; except for the man at the gatehouse and a couple with a small boy in the parking lot I didn’t see a soul. I’m section hiking the M&M. This was an out-and-back, 11 miles and around 1800' elevation gain.
