Comments
Comments: Old Indian Trail side quite icy with some harder ice in steeper sections that
could benefit from more aggressive microspikes such as Hillsounds Trail Pro.
Even regular Hillsounds microspikes might have worked better than Kahtoola,
since Hillsounds teeth are a bit sharper and longer. We opted to walk part way down Summit
access road to where it intersected with Semuhenna then to Old Indian and finished with Balance Rock,
avoiding descending on the steeper icy bits on Old Indian. Fun to watch the skiers as Old Indian crosses several downhill trails.
