Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked at Bear Hill parking lot on Fallon Rd. off route 93 (exit 35). Free parking.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: one small rock hop 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails were in good condition. The skyline trail is very well blazed.

Dog-Related Notes: We saw a few but they were all well behaved. One appeared to be lost (no owner was sighted) 
Bugs
Bugs: Today I encountered the very first few black flies of the season. Not bothersome, just notable.

Comments: Middlesex Fells, Stoneham/Winchester/Medford Mass.

We hiked the skyline trail, which was fun. All the ups and downs make for an interesting hike. My app calculated that we had climbed a total of 1,162 feet.
