Comments
Comments: Water is all over the majority of trails after yesterday's rain. Trails are very muddy as well and in some areas the mud is ankle deep. If you want dry feet, stay at home. It will probably take a few days for the trails to dry up some and more rain is to come. I did a great loop hike that according to All Trails app is 4.2 miles, 1,095 ft gain, and I completed it in just under 3 hours. Bolton Pond and Balance Rock are neat. Views were mostly at the summit on this loop and directional views while crossing some ski trails on Old Indian Trail descent. The summit was very windy today, I would say gusts were pushing 40 mph. Breaks of sun and blue sky mixed with clouds and overcast at times. Only a few sprinkles of rain.
