Comments
Comments: Decided to try out my new show shoes on a smaller peak to get used to them. Broke out the trail going up M&M to the summit and back down to the road at the Dry Brook split. A hiker in microspikes and his golden passed me about halfway up. Looped back to the start on Dry Brook. Snow shoes not necessary but it gave me a chance to check them out and start breaking in the trail. The snow was about 3-4 inches deep in most places and covered with a soft icy crust.
