Comments
Comments: Due to the overnight rainstorm, the West Side/Old Indian Trail route was extremely wet and muddy from bottom to top. The West Side Trail was filled with large areas of standing water, some of which were several inches deep. The Old Indian Trail, at least from the West Side Trail junction to the summit, was filled with equally large patches of mud, some of which were almost a foot deep. I wore fully waterproof boots, so I was able to walk right through all those areas of water and mud.
