| Comments: |
The Roaring Brook Trail had been snowshoed on previous to our group, so it was relatively easy going--slightly packed powder. The Hopper Trail was waist deep snow, with drifts in some places deeper. We had snowshoes + still ended up wading through the snow. Other hikers that we encountered (2 others in 7 hours) came from the Gould Trail + mentioned similar conditions (waist deep unpacked powder). |
