Comments: up Thunderbolt/down Gould

Minimal to 6-8 inches of snow on the trails. Members in the group (6 of us) used either Hillsound crampons or micro spikes - most useful on the Big Schuss and Big Bend segments where the trail is steepest. Once down a mile on Gould, microspikes started clomping up. Nice day out - my favorite trail for ascending. Good views and moderate winds.
